Calling all Indian Freedmen of the five civilized tribes. There has been scheduled a zoom meeting for Monday September 9th, 2024 at 6:00 pm (CST). The main objective is to share information as to the status of the Muscogee Creek Freedmen case. And also to spread fellowship among the Indian Freedmen community. The zoom ID # is 846 1850 4409 with the passcode #764577. We hope that as many Freedmen as possible can join in.

Also included in the agenda will be recognition of August 30th as the anniversary date that Cherokee Freedmen won their lawsuit in 2017. Suggested engagement of conversation as why Freedmen aren’t celebrating this landmark date with more fervor. Other agenda items include: genealogy tips and trips, 1866 Treaty Signing events (or the lack of), and “Can Freedmen sovereignty be possible” and Freedmen economic strategies.
